About

For over 20 years, I have been obsessed with the craft of working with my hands to shape and forge a variety of one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces for my customers. I deliberately work slowly, making sure that each piece is created with the highest craftsmanship so that I feel proud not only of how it looks, but how it is made. Each part of the process, the design, the materials, the fire, the bending and shaping all come together to ignite my passion. My style aims not to copy the delicate designs of commercial jewelry but to create pieces that pull through the integrity of the materials and reflect the raw beauty and strength of the women who wear them. I enjoy creating pieces with a simple elegance — ones that can be worn every day but have a unique beauty that can fit with the most elegant occasion.

In 2008 and 2009 I published the Glass Art Calendar, the first of its kind, that featured remarkable lampwork glass creations including beads, jewelry, objects and sculptural pieces from the leading names in the glass field today. The calendar was sold in museums such as the Corning Museum of Glass, Corning, New York and The Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo, Ohio. I collaborated with the amazing jewelry photographer, Robert Diamante and artist/graphic artist, Kathryn Milillo.

When I first started making jewelry, wireworking was my main medium. I was a big fan of Step by Step Wire and contributed several tutorials for their publications. The two below made the cover. It’s a shame that most of the jewelry trade magazines are no longer in print, but thankfully, many back issues can be electronically purchased.
