I always seem to start my post by saying that it’s been ages since my last post, but I truly find very little time to myself with two young children, especially during the summer months. It’s been an awesome summer, lots of time at the pool, tennis lessons for the kids, a trip to Boston and catching a game at Fenway and then on to Vermont for visiting family, spending time at the lake house, picking blueberries and swimming at the local swimming hole-just like images you would imagine seeing in the summer issue of Vermont Life Magazine. This Sunday we head to the Outerbanks and conclude our summer by enjoying a week at the beach before returning for school.
Before I leave for the beach, I needed to work on some class samples of the HobNob earrings I will be teaching at the Reston Community Center next month on September 15th. These are fun earrings to make. This class comes at the perfect time, a few months before Christmas. Enough time to master the technique and make a bunch for holiday gifts. Earrings-the perfect holiday gift-one size fits all!
And lastly, before I sign off for the night, I want to thank my dear friend, Andrea Arden, for revamping my blog. I thank her for her patience and expertise in creating exactly what I was envisioning. If you are interested in creating a blog for yourself or revamping one you already have, please don’t hesitate contacting her.
Until next time:)
