..made of patina brass…I love the look of jewelry made only of metal….
I love these! I agree, all metal jewelry is perfect. I’ve been wanting to try this link, so I’ll try to figure it out. Thank you for the inspiration.
these are gorgeous and fun – i really like how you have repeated the spiral as a punch as well as in the wirework… nice, jeanette…
Funky and fun! Definitely a go with everything pair.
Thanks for sharing.
Enjoy the day!
Very cool design. Thanks for sharing
I do too! Metal has a life all its own and a luster and shine that can’t be beat. Gorgeous earrings!
Love these! They have great texture.
I do too! They are very cool. What do you use to patina brass? I’ve tried liver of sulphur, but I don’t get a rich color.
Hi Nancy, you would use this stuff..Brass darkening solution. Great for brass and bronze..http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=978&utm_source=GoogleBase&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=Google
Very cool, Jeanette! Love the wire work!
They are so lovely Jeanette, the wire wrapping looks like little hearts. Love them.
Those are awesome!!
Thank you for the link to the Brass Darkening Solution!
Love these! I’d like to try this technique, if I could?
Lovin’ these–how about a tutorial on this link? Would love to try this!
Thanks, Sharon. Hmmmm… this might be tricky for me to put in words with photos, much easier to demonstrate, but I will play around some more and see if I can simplify the steps. Thanks!
Wow, beautiful earrings, and love the link! I want to learn how to make that!
I would love to participate in one of your classes. Do you have a schedule posted for them? Frankie
Are the earwires also brass darkened with the ‘Brass Darkening Solution’? After darkening, do you buff (if so, with what) or put any coating on the brass – particularly the earwires? The color and sheen are just beautiful. However, I’m a bit concerned if these would cause a bad reaction with a person’s ears, but would like to try making my own brass earwires. Thanks!
